Here’s the place to make your picks for Week 7 of the Pix Populi 2016 season! Lines shown as of Tuesday, 10/18 12 pm EST. Just answer questions below and hit submit and you’re in!
For each game, pick the winner and tell us how many you think your winner will win by.
For example, I ask you about Clemson vs. Podunk, you fill in “Clemson by 30” or “CLEM 30” … anything so we can clearly see the winner and the winning margin.
HOW TO SCORE (OR LOSE) POINTS:
Picking the winner
If you pick the winner and the winning margin perfectly, you score 7 points.
Pick the winner and the margin within 3 points either way, you score 5 points.
Pick the winner and the margin within 10 points either way, you score 4 points.
Get within 11-19 points of picking the winner, you score 3 points.
And if you picked the winner but you’re way off (20 or more points), you score 1 point.
Picking the loser
If your pick loses but you are off by five total points, you score 1 point. (You pick Clemson by 3, Podunk wins by 1)
You pick loses and you’re off by 6-10 total points, you lose 1 point. (You pick Clemson by 3, Podunk wins by 4)
If you pick is a loser and you’re off by 11-19 points, you lose 3 points. (You pick Clemson by 3, Podunk wins by 8).
If your pick is a loser by 20 or more points, you lose 5 points. (You pick Clemson by 3, Podunk wins by 17).
Those who do not give winning margins with their picks are automatically assigned 3 point margins.
